The Nigerian Military are in recent times gaining more grounds over the Boko Haram sect, recapturing and being able to battle the terrorists and defeating them. Nigerian troops just recaptured Baga town in Borno state where Boko Haram previously based and had been operating from. The sect had captured the town in January after a fierce gun battle which reportedly left over 2,000 dead..
